The school said a before-school program was just wrapping up in the room at the time of the moose's Thursday morning entrance, and the students were safely ushered out of the room as the dazed animal slumped to the ground.

Saskatoon Public Schools said one child sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

The moose was tranquilized by authorities and relocated to outside the city.

Officials said the rest of the school day continued as normal.

Victoria Williams said her husband, Keith Williams, was playing in a tournament at Windance Golf Course in Gulfport when his ball ended up near a pond on the 12th hole.

The golfers captured video when an alligator strolled up to the ball, grabbed it in its jaws and carried the ball off into the pond.

The U.S. Golf Association's rules state such an incident should result in a free drop.

"Rule 16 covers when and how the player may take free relief by playing a ball from a different place, such as when there is interference by an abnormal course condition or a dangerous animal condition," the rules state.

Campbell told KTXL-TV he looked into the flooded street "and saw a little head bobbing up."

The Campbells said the kitten was struggling to keep its head above water and didn't look like it was going to be able to last much longer, so Skip waded out into the flood.

"It was about waist high. And I was just real careful, because it does drop off about 3 feet away from where I'm at," he said. "And that's where it drops into the creek bed."

Nancy Campbell filmed as her husband grabbed the feline by the scruff and carried it back to the house.

The Campbells said neighbors have expressed an interest in adopting the cat

The previous world record of 2,624 pounds and 9.3 ounces was set in 2016 when Belgian farmer Mathias Willemijns has his own giant pumpkin weighed.

Cutrupi said he was overjoyed to hear his pumpkin's official weight.

"At the time of the weigh-in, I had my back to the screen," Cutrupi told Guinness. "When my friends and the audience saw the weight, they swept me up in celebration. At that moment I knew I had made it. I screamed until I lost my voice."
